I have a 7-8 year old cat whos absolutely terrified of cages or cat bags. I have recently moved and I need to bring him to my new apartment but I'm concerned it will make him really stressed and unwell. I am currently in Korea (visiting) when I found a dog I adopted (my intention was to adopt a small dog). I am returning to America next week. Shami will have to be in cargo for about 15 hours. I am so worried. We went to the vet and got an all clear and got her a cage (big enough for her). What can I do to make her flight comfortable? I already know to add food, water, pee pads. What else? A cooling mat? Toys? What can I do to put her at ease? I am really worried she won't make it.

Hi there, I am coming up soon on a long distance move, and am bringing my bird Scout with me. I have already purchased a travel carrier and am planning on keeping her with me for most of the trip. I have read a few tips online on how to keep her safe and cozy, but I was hoping that I could get a few more tips on how to make sure she stays relaxed and happy.
