I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
Can Guinea pigs use grreat choice pine wood shavings? I see carefresh made a mixture of paper and wood shavings. I'm low on funds this week and I had bought and aired out (for 4 days) grreat choice pine wood for my hamsters. But as I said I'm low on funds and was wondering if just this week I could use the pine wood? I don't want to harm my piggies in anyway.

I switched my guinea pigs to Kaytee Lavender bedding. They both have food, hay, and water. Two bowls of food, two bottles of water, and two hay containers. Does the Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Cat Paw Gel work to maintain urinary pH for struvite stone dissolution and prevention? My cat has a past history of struvite stones (8 years ago) and doesn't eat the urinary SO diet (wet or dry) She is a picky eater and will only eat the blue wilderness salmon high protein wet food when I gave her options. But, I read online that some pet owners have used regular high protein wet food in addition to this nutri-vet or other dl-methionine supplements.
Bucky ate some of my cat litter pellets, I found them in his poop. I had noticed he had a change in behavior, less active. He is still popping and eating. Should I be concerned? It was tidy cat breeze pellets.

I bought a new type of cat litter because I couldn't find Yesterday's News soft pellets, so I settled for Exquisicat (pet smart brand) it says it's recycled paper, but I noticed after buying it that it has recycled paper, Zeolite and Baking soda. Now I'm afraid to use it, because the kittens are at that age where they eat small amounts of the litter and roll around in it constantly. Thank you!
For quite some time both of my birds have been chewing the life out of their perches and ladders. I give them gravel grit, and greens, and vitamins in their water. Is this normal, or is there a deficiency, or an underlying problem?
