My Canary, Ringo, has a Cage that has a peaked roof, like a house. I have a chance to get a Flat-topped roof, larger cage. Which type of cage do Canaries like? I prefer the house-style cage, as it is more attractive. But, I realize Canaries don't know about their cage being attractive. Ringo would be able to fly more in the larger cage. Is the Peaked Roof just a Personal, Human Preference? And, Not the Canaries?

I had a pair of zebra finches in a closed cage. I had it for 4 days. The birds are in my terrace. All night I close the cage with a bedsheet. The 5th day morning when I removed the bedsheet only one Finch was there. The cage was fully closed. But the male Finch's feathers was outside. What can eat a Finch. I also have some love birds. How can I stop predators eating my birds.

hello my bird already laied eggs. In how many weeks do they hatch? Also do to the cold weather what can I do to keep my birds warm. what other foods could I feed my budgie? what if the nest box is small will they lay eggs in it or will they lay them on the bottom of the cage?
I have 4 finch birds and 1 flew away recently but came back after 2 weeks but it was huddled to 1 side only with puffed up feathers and squinting eyes it is cold at night and hot in the morning. Hi! My bird has layed eggs but their nest is not in good condition. I gave them enough fiber and even sticks but somehow they left a hole where two eggs have fallen, several remain and I'm desperate to move or correct their nest so that the eggs won't fall but I've heard that it could also cause the birds some stress and make them think the eggs are a goner. I don't know what to do.
I have two parakeets in a large cage. I just purchased another one and brought it home. When I opened the box, the bird flew away. it's been 2 hours and i can't get the bird in the cage?
