Hey I have a chicken but and I also have a coop but my chickens hate going in their coop I put it on top of my roof cause they like to stay on the roof but they seem to ignore the coop they are cage free chickens
Our pet African Grey bird started laying eggs since we've started taking care of her. She layed 4 last week and started laying again this week. So far two. We've bought fake eggs and moved her cage but it doesn't help. She's not attached to the eggs and even lays them from her perch and lets them fall. We're trying to give her calcium. Can I feed her cooked chicken, and raw potato skin (organic) she jumps when she sees those things. Also we cook using avocado oil. Is that bad for her?

My Amazon Bandit needs a larger cage. I am hesitant to purchase a new cage as the one he has is too small. Descriptions do not indicate the spacing of the bats. Additionally there are no toys in cages to help identify which cage is best. I inherited Bandit and he throws pellets out of feed dish and doesn't seem to care for food that came with him. Suggestions?

I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
So I just bought my first bird. But I have no idea what to do next. I did buy good bird food without sunflower seeds, millets, culet bone cage, and nutriberries. My Canary, Ringo, has a Cage that has a peaked roof, like a house. I have a chance to get a Flat-topped roof, larger cage. Which type of cage do Canaries like? I prefer the house-style cage, as it is more attractive. But, I realize Canaries don't know about their cage being attractive. Ringo would be able to fly more in the larger cage. Is the Peaked Roof just a Personal, Human Preference? And, Not the Canaries?
