How far apart are the bars? Will this cage be safe for parakeets

  1. This cage has 1/2" bar spacing. The recommended bar spacing for parakeets is 3/8 inch to ½ inch. This spacing is small enough to keep them safe (prevents them from squeezing through or getting their heads stuck) while still giving them good visibility and ventilation. ⚠️ Anything wider than ½ inch isn’t recommended, as parakeets are small and curious, and it could be dangerous.
