I have inherited an african grey from a friend who is ill. She's had him 15 years. I bought a new ladder for his cage and he refuses to go near it. Should I take it out or will he accept it eventually? I want this transition to be as stress free as possible.

My bird is not moving . I don't know what's wrong with its leg . It is very lose and he can't stand on it . Not only when I lay him down he has no balance and thus falls on the ground on its tummy with its feathers widely open. Now he's not eating well . I am very worried pls tell me what's the matter .
