Our 34 yr old amazon parrot is having issues with her feet. How would she be evaluated to check for arthritis. She is having a bit of trouble staying on her perches at times. She falls to the bottom of the cage but I also see her climb around her cage upside down quite often daily. Thanks for the help.
Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? What size cage? It would probably be out a lot because I am home most every day. Only gone on Fridays. I want a bird that can do almost everything with me and not too small. About a medium bird? I've got a few questions. First my two birds are having a hard time bonding with me how do I fix that? So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
I'm trying to train my rabbit to go to the bathroom in a potty in the corner of her cage. but, its plastic and she keeps biting on it and trying to lift it up. how do I prevent that?
