I gave the cage 4 stars because some of the screw holes were drilled straight and a few screws were missing. Overall very sturdy cage. I inch bar spacing so not for small birds. Could easily work for a large McCaw. My bird is a African Grey. Probably bigger than she needs but she seems to like it. One warning. If you take cage out to power wash as we do, this will not fit through door put together. Its both too wide and too tall for my doors which are standard size. Took about two hours to put together and is a two person job because the pieces are BIG

Cage came much quicker than expected however it was dented in one area and one of the feet was bent making it sit uneven on the ground. I had to bend it back to get it to work. Unfortunately, due to time constraints there really was no sending it back.

I bought two of these cages one for my GW Macaw and one for my Moluccan. They were packed so well it almost took me as much time unpacking the boxes as putting them together. Assembly was straight forward, easy. This cage is very impressive, I just love them. I wouldn’t think twice getting another, it’s their biggest cage that isn’t a walk in aviary (I have one of those too for outside) the add on petco didn’t give all the information about the cage so I went on the A&E website snd pulled it up for exact dimentions. Both my GW & Moluccan destroy cages but they have had these cages for a year now and haven’t been able to damage them at all, they have tried too.

We just recieved this cage a couple of weeks ago and are very happy with it. It's really huge, which our macaw loves, and it is extremely strudy and well made, as well as beautiful. Also, we were very surprised and happy, that the cage was delivered to our house. Living in Hawaii, this can be a problem. It came in three large boxes and did require assembly, but it was not difficult at all. So, like l said, we are very happy with this cage!
