I just bought my son 2 canarys because he was crying to have a bird but our cat is so fascinated with them, she keeps trying to grab them through the cage openings her paw fits through there! Can I have a list on what to get and feed a amazon parrot. Also what size cage? Most like would be open if I were up there. Would it keep a bird awake if I had an audio book on in the room my bird is in at night? She would be covered. Would an amazon parrot fly out if my door was open? My Canary, Ringo, has a Cage that has a peaked roof, like a house. I have a chance to get a Flat-topped roof, larger cage. Which type of cage do Canaries like? I prefer the house-style cage, as it is more attractive. But, I realize Canaries don't know about their cage being attractive. Ringo would be able to fly more in the larger cage. Is the Peaked Roof just a Personal, Human Preference? And, Not the Canaries?

I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
