Me and my macaw both really love this cage. I think it's very good quality and worth the money. It's so tall. I only have a couple of complaints: The bottom is close to the ground but not close enough to keep my hormonal male macaw from trying to nest under it. He frequently climbs down and pulls objects underneath where he will speak nonsense words that he only says when he's being hormonal, as well as regurgitate, rub his face on, and tear up the carpet. It would be nice if it had another shelf type thing underneath instead of empty space, as I believe it would be much more uncomfortable for him to try to get under there. My other complaint is that it looks like the entire third box (yes, it came in three boxes) was dropped at some point. There was one huge dent which had started to rust, and rust residue all in the box as well as another minor dent and a very bent piece that was only aesthetically inconvenient. I continued to try and assemble the cage and it worked well and looking at it you can't really tell unless you look closely. Nevertheless, the bottom grate does not slide in correctly (it is crooked) and the door must be pushed hard to close and pulled hard to open, which always jolts the cage and scares my bird. I called customer service who took a long time and offered me a mere $25 compensation which I guess is fair considering the cage is still in working order. I wish I'd opened that box first because I would have returned the entire thing.

I LOVE it. It's so huge. It was fairly simple to put together but the instructions SUCKED. They made no sense. This would be difficult for someone who is not mechanically inclined. Nevertheless, I am so happy I got this. However, it arrived and two pieces were badly dented, one piece had two dents. I realize this is probably the carrier's fault but, Customer support, please contact me. The pieces also had a lot of rust on the bottom which can be deadly to birds. But I expect it's been sitting in a warehouse for a while. I'm hoping to received contact from customer support, who do not have an email address.

Cage was discounted heavily, then came bent badly on top. Won’t buy from this vendor again.
