Broken cage it came that way in two places

For a cage that cost over $125 it was damaged inside the box I don’t know whether it was damaged during delivery or it was damaged when they sent it. The wire on each side was bent cracked chipped and - there were two broken pieces that I’m going to have to duck tape up because I have two birds and one was picking on the other it’s not funny I needed that cage I could not send it back do not buy this cage or do not shop at Petco

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not really ideal for parakeets as stated

Advised that the best keet cage was 20x20, I spent hours searching for such a cage. This cage was the right size, and I figured I could modify anything that wouldn't work. And it needed a bunch of modifications and about a spool of extra wire for everything from the top play area hinge gaps to the bottom grid. The space is great, lots of room for toys, perches and hanging things plus extra feed and water holders. I also love the big door on the front allowing better access to clean the cage and dishes. I just wish someone would make a version of this cage with parakeet-size food openings and doorways so the modifications I spent a couple hours making weren't necessary. Because honestly, after several hours of internet searching there just wasn't a 20x20 keet cage to be found. And even though it does say you can use the cage alone without the stand, I don't know how. It's designed to sit on the stand for the bottom and walls to be held in place. But again, with determination and enough wire, it can be modified to work without the stand by wiring the bottom grid to the cage sides, stabilizing the walls and holding the plastic tray in place. Would I buy it again? Probably, because giving my guys room to spread their wings in a safe space while I'm at work and having plenty of room for toys and treats was important. Would I still gripe about all the rewiring? Yep.

No, I do not recommend this product.

            1. I doubt that very much due to the dimensions of the cage
