My dog passed away from fungal pneumonia approx 6 months ago. We kept some of the toys (mostly stuffed)is it safe for our new dog to play with those toys? The toys were kept in our broom closet in a Walmart bag.
I'm struggling to find toys that are fun and suitable for my 9 month old gsd pup. I have a kong, a kong ring and a couple of rope toys. He seems to like the kong for a little and the rope toys are fun for tug of war. I have children with stuffed animals and I don't want him to attribute those to chew toys if I get puppy toys that looked like stuffed animals...Also for chew time are Bully sticks the safest/best thing I can give him or do you have any recommendations for that as well?
My cat only likes toys with some type of string but then he chews thru them and won’t play with them anymore. What type of toys would be best?
My cat does not like toys, I really want to entertain him so he won’t become bored however it seems like nothing entices him. Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys? We got rescue dog yesterday. Same age as my dog, no past traumas, healthy, playful. Both females, they get along good, they play together. She is mixed breed, mine is German Shepherd. But both of them are quite possessive over toys/food. Especially chewing ones. All the toys are my dogs. So when new dog takes her toy, she growls and shows teeth, takes toy away. Rescue dog just shows teeth when mine does that. They don't fight. What should I do? Should I get fresh toys for new dog?
