Instinct comes in plenty of varieties, so it’s easy to share the benefits of raw food with your pet. For 100% raw complete and balanced nutrition, choose frozen or freeze-dried raw meals. Boosted raw nutrition options bring the benefits of raw to kibble—choose protein-rich Kibble+Raw, a raw mixer you can add to any meal or raw coated kibble that puts the pure, real nutrition of raw in every piece.
Yes, all Instinct pet foods are made in the USA. The raw recipes—including the freeze-dried raw included on dry kibble—are made in a company-owned facility in Lincoln, Nebraska.
You can buy Instinct raw dog food at your neighborhood Petco store or online at petco.com, where we carry an extensive selection of Instinct Raw options and recipes.
Yes, Instinct offers a variety of ways to include raw foods into your pet’s diet. Using Cold Pressure technology, Instinct preserves the integrity of raw ingredients to deliver minimally processed, never cooked, pure nutrition for your pet in both frozen and shelf-stable options.

My puppy is about 4 months old. I'm still working on potty training her but it seems like its taking forever for her den instinct to come in...she will go outside to potty and usually.won't go in the house unless I'm preoccupied with my children and not paying attention but still goes in her crate...what can I do to stop this or help develop her den instinct?
What is a better puppy food for a basset hound I'm in between iams and instinct?
My dog is not eating his regular food (kibble) I was feeding him Instinct Raw Boost Chicken flavor and he ate that fine most of the time. I switched about 2 weeks ago to Instinct Original Chicken Flavor ( no raw boost). As far as I know the only difference between the 2 is that the Original does not have bits of freeze dried raw in it. He has hardly eaten anything for 2 days. I don’t think it’s a medical issue because he will eat treats fine. Please help
Hello there, I feed my 10months old cat Halo sensitiv stomuch dry cat food in seafood medley formula along with Instinct original canned food in chicken formula. My question is whether it’s OK to Feed him both.!!! Or should I get chicken formula in dry food as well. So far he been ok with eating dry in halo but in seafood formula and instinct wet in chicken!! Regards.. he is Scottish fold (FYI).
My dos has a lump in his penis.. I just saw it today. What might be the cause of it? Is it cancerous? And also his food. We feed him instinct raw frozen food. (Beef) Is that good for him?
My two cats are now eating salomn nature variety instinct cans and some six fishes orijen kibbles. Should I vary up their types of protein and if so how often should I rotate to prevent possible allergy in the future?
My kitten has really recently started trying to cover food. It looks like how she covers in litter box but I read it could be some type of survival instinct. We also have another older cat in the house if that helps in anyway. I'm just curious as to why she started doing this.
I have a 9 year old female collie mix who’s urine seems to be smelling a little stronger of ammonia or something of the sort. She is not showing any signs of discomfort, loss of appetite, or lack of energy! Her dog food is Instinct, the chicken recipe for adults. Could this be a diet issue?
Hello! Just writing to confirm my instinct. I think this is just a big zit thats popped on its own. Should I put a hot compress on it? the last is a similar zit on her top lip. Should I leave them alone? Thank you.
I get all excited and feel loved when my corgis follow me around, cuddle, and sleep with me. Then I remember that it’s part of their instinct to do that because I’m the closest thing my dogs have to a pack animal. She has that thing on her because she’s in heat and I now have to wash my white covers.
I have a dog and 3 cats. I just found my dog outside eating the remains of a squirrel. First, I know this is animal instinct, but will my dog be alright (should I look for anything)? Second, is it alright to let my dog back inside around my cats?
Bea has been peeing everywhere- brought her in for a shot for a UTI but she’s still peeing on stuff and it looks like she has crystals(the things she’s peeing on, clothes, look shiney). Shes on a very good diet- Instinct dry food and wet food but the vet said it may be the food (she’s been eating this for her whole life). Any suggestions? No change to litter box or anything else. This has been going on for weeks with no improvement.
