Hi! My girl Aspen here has been having this bumps under her fur show up.. I dont know what it is and it worries me because she has 6 week old puppies. None of them have bumps like this except 1 has 1 small bump on her head. And it looks like it scabbed. I'm only including photos of Aspen, but let me know if I should send some of the puppy. Are these bug bites? Or should I be concerned? Should I go to the vet?
I've had my boy for two years now and I've been using Aspen wood shavings recently for bedding. However, I've noticed that Winnie has a noticeable patch of missing hair, I bathe him regularly, I'm concerned that it could be the bedding that is having an effect on his fur, or is it something in his diet that needs to change?
This is Aspen. She was staying outside while we were on our recent roadtrip. When we came back she had some bumps on her cheek which we thought were mosquito bites because they are really bad in CO right now with all the rain but those bumps turned into scabs. And it didnt look like there was this much when we first found it. They havent gone away and it has been a week. We never see her scratch at them tho so idk why they scabbed. She has had baths, but plays with her 10 wk old puppy alot. ):
My rat has been sneezing. Sometimes he sounds like a squeaky toy. There is some poryphrin around the eyes and nose but not excessive that it's there the whole day. Listening to him sniff, I can hear him but it isn't really wheezing. It has already been over two weeks since I got him. He's currently on aspen bedding. His cage mate shows none of these symptoms. I've been told this might develop into pneumonia? I can't find a vet locally that treats rats
Hello. I can’t get my baby crested gecko to even be interested in taking a cricket. Crickets are the right size the breeder feed and also the breeder said that this gecko was eating crickets and would hunt them. I feed Repashy. Does that supplement crickets too? My first crested gecko Oakley, did this also. But after about 3-4 weeks of trying Oakley did eat crickets. Any suggestions on how to get my new crested gecko, aspen, to eat crickets? He is really good eater with his Repashy. (three legs)

My female dwarf hamster remakes repetitive squeaking noises in her sleep. I heared it for the first time today, I switched from pine shavings to aspen bedding, I only used the wood shavings for one month but could it be a raspitory infection? How do I treat it? Is the squeaking normal, I red that they could see nightmares and stuff. She did eat and drink normally today and the vets are not open for 3 days and I don't know if I should take her incase it's a normal thing. Please help me!
I have a new Ball Python that eats allright, but it stays in it's hide all the time, day and night. I keep the temperature gradient consistant. The hide is the black square with a hole in one end. I feed him in a separate clear habitat. The substrate is aspen bedding wich, consists of perfectly square 3mm pieces that stick to every thing it comes in contact withincluding the snake wich is covered. I have to mist more than seven times a day to keep the humidity above 40%. One quart at a time.

Hello! I was just curious as to if Colorado has a very low percentage rate of a pet getting fleas. (Excluding the pet owners who are more active. Out in the mountains, woods, etc;)? Or is it just the same pretty much everywhere you go and purely depends on how often your pet is outside and it’s interaction with other animals?
