Is this safe for hamsters because I read it's made of pine wood dust.
- I didn't know it's made of pine dust. Exaclty one year ago I got one of this for my roborovski hamster, he loves to hide in and climb on it but he has never showed any interest in chewing it.

I have a 1 1/2 year old yorkie. He was found abandoned in a back yard for a lenghty time to where he had only bark,grass,an dirt to eat. we rescued chewie about 9 months ago. Chewie is healthy now but our problem is when he is alone he non stop barks and bothers the neighbors to no bitter end. Chewie is well loved but we are trapped as his prisoners to where we can't go no where with out him or have to rely on a sitter. What can we do to stop this?

Lucy has 2 smaller brothers in the house and 1 smaller sister. She has decided to pick on one of her brothers. Half weenie and half yorkie. We have a power chewer ! Since we adopted our Rhodesian mix at 4 mos , we have learned what chews are unsafe, and to supervise him . He does best with benebones, antlers, selects kings if they are solid . He slowly eats them, spits out kong pieces . We are used to hearing him contently chewing . We praise him. . He is very healthy and happy . The problem: I was hearing him chewing and it sounded different . He was eating my husbands leather shoe! He is challenging commands he knows as well! ??
