Ringo has never eaten (picked at) his Cuttle Bone. What does Cuttle Bone do for Birds? Anything else I could give him, to replace it? Ringo is 13 mths. old. (Canary)
Hi, my parakeet won't file his beak on his cuttlebone. His beak has gotten long where when he eats the shell of the seed gets stuck on the point. What should I do?
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? I’m including the details of the product in attached photos. I do feed her some seeds as a treat sometimes. Thank you.
PLEASE ANSWER THIS AS FAST IF YOU CAN.I feed my turtle this cuttle bone that is meant for birds and now I'm worried if it will hurt her. Please tell me if my turtle can eat this.I took off the hard shell on the bone before I gave it to her.Again please answer this as fast as you can. Can i give peaches crushed oyster shells and, cuttlefish bone power, since she is laying infertile eggs? Is it safe to mix crushed oyster shells and cuttlefish bone power to give to her? Will this kill her, since i do not want to fill her up full of calcium, but calcium is needed since she is laying infertile eggs. Is cuttlefish bone safe to give to peaches?
I have a pet lovebird named peaches, i am feeding her dehydrated fruits and vegetables and tropican lifetime granules for cockitels, it is also for lovebirds, it has 8% of calcium, i am not giving her a lot of calcium because it can kill her, no fortified seeds, cuttle fish bone and clay cal, i do not feed her calcium every day, i just give it to her before and after she lays and egg, what is the right amount of calcium for pet love birds?

i have a lovebird named peaches, today Sunday the 8th of july they came to cut the grass, the widow was opened just a little crack, you think that can harm or kill peaches or give her resportory illness? They would never come on a sunday to cut the grass. Can i switch peaches to crushed oyster shells, she layed six eggs, i though that she was going to lay eight, can i continue to give her egg food will it harm her in any way? Which is better cuttlefishbone or crushed oyster shells?
I have had my parakeet for about 1 month now. When cleaning his cage, I noticed that his cuttlebone seemed to be untouched. Due to this, I have moved it to be a tad bit more accessible, but it doesn't seem like he knows what to do with it. What should I do?
