Aquiline is an inside cat although we try to have supervise outdoor leashtime we have found that his mesh harness what does what we were originally recommended stretches too much and he can rather easily slip out of it and get free he did this yesterday on our way back from the pet store to get him new toys. Hi, I noticed our dog has some swelling under his eye. I’m wondering if it’s from a horse fly or a bee or something. My husband isn’t sure if he would have hit it something when he was playing. About an hour later, I noticed bumps on his nose. So I feel like it’s probably bug bites. I’m not sure if you can tell from the pictures. I figured I’d try asking anyway.

Hello. I have a Standardbred mare, age 30, currently on SMZ's until Monday 15 April. The 4 way vaccination(Eastern and Western equine encephalomyelitis, influenza due to type A2 (Kentucky '97) is due to be given this Friday 12 April. Can I safely vaccinate the horse while on SMZ's?
We found this fly-looking bug crawling on Cosmo today - I think I've found one once before. We were able to get it off but are worried there might be more? We asked around and people have suggested it could be a horse fly or a pigeon louse fly. We have been using frontline plus, but does this protect him against this bug? Should we be concerned? I am thinking of switching to advantix because it protects against stable flies - but is this bug a stable fly?
Luna started scratching herself again, it's always on her head around her ears so I need to protect those areas. I don't want to make her uncomfortable with a cone again so I was thinking some sort of hat would be a good idea. I saw some ideas online (pictures) but I don't know where to buy one or how to make one.
