Horse has hot swollen left buttock with small lump in middle slightly protruding 5" from the dock. Horse dragging left toe of left rear. Seemed slightly better when walked out and given Danilon. Horse suffers from Cushings and tying up but has not tyed up today.
Just sent a question about Sarge, and there wasn't a reply button. In regards to his aural hematoma, I found a photo so have attached it. I called it 'small' but maybe it's not? We are using the No Flap Ear Wrap to keep him from moving his ears and it works very well. There is also some black skin on the tip from the repeated aspirations, I guess.

Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today. Is there anything else I can use to help heal it?. He’s in not in pain or doesn’t wince when I touch it or cleanse it. just reposting to add pictures Also I have goodwinol ointment. Btw the black thing is his leash just to coax him in the tub, it didn’t touch his sore but he’s collarless
