This toy was something my cats will try to play with but I specifically bought it to get them a kicker toy. I’m not sure why it is classified as a kicker since it isn’t long enough for cats to grab with front paws & kick with back ones. It should be longer so the cats feet can reach the toy when they grab it with front paws.

This toy is super cute and fun for both kitties and my little dog. He loved the Santa hat to carry it and then my cats love the curly part and the catnip they could bite the soft toy. I would say that this is a bit with the household!

Super cute Christmas octopus! Made well, very light, stuffed with catnip. Perfect for playtime for my cat. He was so excited to see it that he snatched it out of my hands before I could remove the tag.

My cat received the Merry Makings Octopus Kicker and was immediately enamored. She is a cat that loves strings and so the ribbon tentacles on the toy were perfect for her interests. My cat is more of a silvervine girl but the catnip did get a reaction from her. The toy itself is adorable with a cute face and santa hat. I gave the toy 4 stars however because after a few days she lost interest in the kicker and has not revisited it since. She will now only play with it if someone holds it for her and she can bat at the ribbons.
