All LIFEGARD Turbo Reactors are engineered to the highest quality and efficiency to promote the growth of Nitrate and Phosphate reducing bacteria and Enzymes. The name TURBO is due to a unique high flow spinning action to provide the highest water quality in a short time. This is not your average media reactors with a lazy flow through. The internal mechanism provides a unique anti-clumping spiral flow that maximizes the media contact time as well as greater flow through the media. Resulting in an accelerated chemical and biological filtration to quickly remove nitrates, Phosphates, Slime Algae and other nuisance algae for a marine or freshwater aquarium. Hand crafted from high quality acrylic for use with Bio-Pellets, GFO, or Carbon. High quality, Energy Efficient Quiet One Pump for maximized performance. Built-In Flow control. Easy out of the box Setup and Maintenance.

Our design allows the ease of maintenance. Whether you want to change, add or mix media, simply unscrew the plastic screws on the top to remove the top cover and it opens up for full access. Turbo Reactors are designed to run Bio-pellets of ALL shapes and sizes, GFO, Carbon etc. It comes with diffuser plates and 2 pieces of foam for GFO and other fine filter media. All Turbo reactors are built on the smallest possible footprint while providing the maximum efficiency and flow. The Nano reactor is only 2.15" wide, this little reactor packs a good punch in effectively controlling and removing your Nitrates, Phosphates, slime algae and other nuisance algae. It can hold a up to 250ML of bio-pellets giving you an aquarium capacity of 10 - 75 Gallons (depending on your bio-load). Yet it can still fit into an aquarium as small as our 5G, 7G Nano aquarium systems.

Is activated carbon good to use in an aquarium with surgeon fish?
Reds's aquarium is so very cloudy. Can't see turtle til she surfaces! Don't know what caused this or what to do. Ordered vacuum but it won't be here until Friday. Please Help. Put in stuff for ammonia.
So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
We have a large 5-year-old goldfish. I was walking by his aquarium (he's in a 20 gallon, but we are almost ready to transfer him to a 55 gallon), and he had an explosive poop! I've never seen him do this. What should I do?
