What do I do for my cat to reduce Stress if medicine seems to not help
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
My female betta fish contracted Ich last week, and I noticed it from a single white spot on her head. For the last 7 days I've been using Imagitarium's Parasite Remedy treatment in her tank, and when I bought it I was told it should only take a week, yet the little guy is still on her head. What else can I do?
Hi! Two days ago I adopted an injured blue gourami fish. It was injured 10 days ago. Some of the minor wounds healed before I got it, but one has a fungal infection (like white cotton). I have started to treat that with something called Furamor-p. This is supposed to also treat swollen abdomen, which I also see. Should I remove the fungus physically, or should I just let the meds work and hope for best? I have heard that epsom salt helps a swollen abdomen. Is this something you would recomend?
My indoor cat is under stress, due to neighbourhood cats in season and fighting. Im noticing today his not using his toilet normally. Is Lavender Oil ok to burn in an oil burner to help reduce his stress.
I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
The fish has attacks of fast uncontrolled movement since we have it. Sometimes it hits itself on walls and objects. Lately it lays down on the floor on the side and rubs itself on objects. It got scratches all over and hurt his eye. It eats normally. No visible parasites, but seems something itches it on the skin. We bought Imagitarum Parasites Remedy, but hesitate to use it as some reviews say fish died of it. We also have shrimps and snails. Should we use the remedy?
Medication suggestion for a month old baby rat with beginner signs of a URI.
Hello, I have a betta and I'm sure he has moderate fin rot. Thing is I have him in a 1.1 bowl because I broke my bigger 2.5 gal tank. Ive been doing water changes and recently bought aquarium salt, bettafix, and Tail and Body Cure from API but I'm not sure how to use it in such a small tank w/o a heater... I know its such a bad environment but its not for long. I just need my betta to last a weak till I get a decent tank. Could you please give me a suggestion. I greatly appreciate your time.
Hello! My 3-year-old male cat has always had a problem with separation anxiety. I taking a 3 day vacation & nervous that he will cry the entire time I'm gone, causing a headache for my roommates. It's also important to note I will be gone over the 4th of July. I'm considering the following products to prevent this: 1) Bach Rescue Remedy Pet 2) Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Paw-Gel 3)4Paws PET Blend Natural Pet Care Hemp Supplement Which of these would work best/is recommended and safe for him to use?
