So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
So today I went to feed my fish when i noticed white specs all over the filter where the water dispenses the filtered water back into the water I think it is mold but please help me out here because I am no expert

How to kill and prevent Destritus worms in sand fish tank or planted fish tank without harming to fish ? Before I used top filter but currently use internal filter ,but I know how to prevent and handling this situation in future if I face this problem again because I face past this problem when I used top filter in 72 litre tank , and I used albendazole 500mg. but all fish died after this treatment ........ We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.
When I change the water in my fish tank, after I add the appropriate amount of conditioner, a white fuzz seems to appear on all the objects in my tank, aside from the fish. I’ve had the tank for over a year now and it happens on all the water changes. My fish seem to be unaffected (I have 4). What could potentially be happening?

Hello , I found these worms in the drinking water filter. Can I know the cause ?? and what effect they have? I clean the filter and change the water daily .
