Bought this thinking it was a two pack….because it’s literally what it says right in the description. Thank goodness I did a pickup or I probably wouldn’t have noticed until it was too late. When the cashier handed me the bags, I saw the very obvious single scratcher and asked about it. They were also extremely confused. It wasn’t until the employee pulled up his phone and looked at the reviews for the product did we realize that this was a known issue. He said he had never seen something like this. I mentioned there was a bigger size saying the same thing and guess what…..SAME ISSUE! He said he was going to send an email to his general manager about it. I want mad at them at all because the barcode was exactly the same. It’s just poorly advertised online. Buy the scratcher that doesn’t have the decorative boarder….it is actually a two pack.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I returned. It’s only one scratcher with a catnip packet. Description is misleading. You can find scratchers for less than half of the price.

    I would say no, it's cardboard, so they might chew and swallow the torn off pieces.

Is this a heavy base or does it move? I have a Kong scratcher now but we had to put a weight on it so our kitten wouldn’t move it all over the place.  He doesn’t use it as much because the scratching surface is smaller. Any tips?

    It’s completely cardboard with no extra weight added. So it moves around a bit depending on how vigorously my cats are scratching, but not too much. I always put it on a rug or carpet to give it some traction. It would definitely move around on wood or tile surface.

Will this track (leave pieces of cardboard behind) with heavy use?

    The pieces of cardboard usually fall to the bottom of the box it sits in. Unless your cat is very silly while scratching and then only a couple of pieces get to the floor. I normally vacuum the top to keep things extra neat. All in all I love this product. Add a little catnip and it keeps my kitties occupied.
