My senior lhasapoo, age 16 in January, is developing an odor. I change the pad on her bed daily. I have her groomed regularly. She is currently on science diet k/d food. She has had bladder stones in the past.
So I took in a stray that is at least five years old and has rather obviously had it rough. I am keeping him segregated and also set up a cat condo for him in said room, which he tends to stay in, sleeping (the condo, I mean). I bought him this nice, plush self warming bed that he is absolutely rejecting. Seriously, he'd rather sleep on bare floor than this bed. But he'll rub on it and lean against it to sleep. Why does my guy hate his bed? *note, I have provided him with soft blankets he loves.

Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
My 151/2 yr old chihuahua has been walking with one leg up for a while, and seemed painless, now she is developing a lump above knee of the same hindleg, and since this lump, she sleeps and sleeps doesnt get up for anything, rightnow she has not even got up to pee since 14hrs ago or more, I have to make her get up, when I let her be, she holds it in for ever

Hello, I have had my beloved cat, Lolly, since kindergarten making her 17 years of age. Recently I retrieved her from my mother's house and noticed her unkempt hair. She now has a surfeit of tangled clumps of matted fur varying in size. How should I proceed, are there any special shampoos or products that would help? I heard they are not supposed to be cut off. My 5 yrs. old Calico apartment cat used to a big place in my apartment , but I`m facing an upcoming surgery & I live all alone & I can`t find anyone to ta e my cat into their hose, therefore I1ll board her in a kennel & i`ma afraid she`ll go into a separation anxiety since she is used to a big place where she can walk & jump( her bladder is narrow) , but in the kennel not much space to move sound. Him My cat is 14 years old and basically in good health. He has been having problems with his back legs for several months now. We took him to the vet and they did blood work which came back good. They did say he has arthritis and joint pain in the back legs. We are giving him Glucosamine and Cosequin. The vet recommended a stronger med called Sibadol and eloxiject. We are not sure what to do. We want to help him. He doesn't seem to be in pain but he is unbalanced. Also want a back leg brace sup
