NOTE that it indicates this is a SMALL size bed. Way too small. My 14 lb cat tried to get in the bed and could not fit. It was sad to see him try and try. He finally gave up and just plopped down on top of it. That didn't work either as only half of him fit (either in or on it). Check the date of the reviews saying big cats fit in the bed. They're all 2 years old or older. They used to sell these beds in two sizes. My sister bought one of these a couple of years ago and it was marked LARGE. That one fit her big cat. Apparently they don't make them in large anymore.

They curl up in it even my huge 18lb cat! The bottom cushion is very thick, soft and removeable so you can place it on a wood floor. I'm going get another one!

Great size for a medium to largish cat. Enough space for a cat to have walls around them but still be able to look out.

I received this bed and put it immediately put it into the washer. I really like the color, and the cushion for the inside is pretty. However, the cushion was not sewn properly and opened at one end in the washer. I thought I could just sew it, but the side with the furry material is some sort of stretchy mesh and no way for me to easily sew it so I threw it away and used blankets to fill the bottom of the bed. My chihuahua loves it..

The outer shell of the bed is very nice. Although the cushion is pretty it isn’t sewn together very well. I washed it right out of the box and one end came apart. I couldn’t repair it because the material on the furry side is some sort of mesh. I ended up throwing it away and used baby blankets to fill the bottom. My chihuahua loves it.

Very unhappy. I bought this bed for one of my chihuahuas. I received it yesterday and tossed it in the washer. When I took it out the pillow had come apart. Unfortunately, due to the material on one side there is no way for me to fix it so I'm going to throw it away. I bought one several years ago that had a pillow that was much better quality, which I still have. Because I washed it I won't be returning it. I've just put some thick baby blankets in the bottom for cushion. Everything else about the bed is fine.
