My 90 lb Hound dog mix was diagnosed with arthritis at his 1 year check up, but I dreaded the thought of putting him on anti-inflammatory meds at such a young age. My vet recommended trying a powdered form of glucosamine as an alternative. I found this and couldn't be happier. It took 4-6 weeks to fully work, but 2 years later, and he's more of a puppy than ever. The only time he slows down is when we forget this powder for a few day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've beeen using glucosamine to help protect the joints of my two active senior horses. I top dress their feed. And because it's pure glucosamine, I confident that they get the correct dosage without added fillers.

Dr. Foster was awesome in replacing my purchase because it came delivered with the lid open. Some of the product has slipped in the box. They replace my shipment with a new 5 lb of Glucosamine but the replacement had been spilled over as well. The lid is not sealing properly and needs to be reinforced. I love the Dr. Foster website but this manufacturer has a lid problem.

We use this on our German shepherd dog for joint problem. I forgot to order it and she went a week without it and had a horrible time walking. As soon as we started adding that little scoop daily to her food she walked fine. Can't live without this stuff!

I've been giving Gunner Glucosamine 5000 Powder for three weeks and I already see a difference in his hocks. I work him three times a week and I'm not seeing the soreness like before. I will definitely order this product again

I use only a tablespoon per day on my 230 mastiff. He has shown improvement in mobility. My only complaint is the lid of the package had come off during shipping. Thankfully hardly any was spilled.
