The multi cat diffuser may give you slightly better results but they both will likely help. The diffusers are nice because it’s a constant infusion of the pheromone that occurs even when you are not home. Other things that can help Trixie to feel more calm are to provide climbing opportunities that satisfy her natural instincts. A tall cat tree or shelves mounted to the wall with a bed on top can help some cats feel more secure. Set aside 30 minutes a day for vigorous play as tiring her out may result in less anxiety. Royal Canin also makes a diet called Calm that affects the serotonin levels in the brain and some cats do very well on this diet. If she continues not to do well, medications may help. Sully is adorable! Thanks for including a picture. I wish I could give you a simple answer to your question, but every animal is different and some require a combination of products. I would say that about 50% of the animals I try it with have a good response to Rescue Remedy, so that is often my first choice for cats (especially since it can just be added to the water). I have not used the other products, but both appear to have ingredients that could be used alone or in combination with Rescue Remedy. Don't forget that natural supplements are much more variable than medications and will not sedate, so they are sometimes not enough for a very anxious cat. I also recommend combining supplements with a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) or a Comfort Zone Diffuser ( https://www.comfortzone.com/ ) in your house. Great questions! Feliway contains synthesized cat pheromones, which helps cats with anxiety and stress, and can potentially help with urine marking and scratching. In my experience, it does help and I've seen very positive results in cats whose owners have used. The cat pheromones used in Feliway are odorless to us, but is a replication of a pheromone that cats leave when they are comfortable in their environment. Every time a cat rubs against an object, they are leaving this pheromone behind to mark their territory. Using Feliway can help a cat feel more calm and comfortable, and can reduce stress related behaviors such as urine marking. I recommend using the plug in diffuser of Feliway, which can be left on continuously and lasts about four weeks. You should start seeing results within a couple of days of using it, if not sooner.
