Real Nature seems to be a very high quality food, it is not one i am familiar with but the ingredient list is quite impressive. if he is doing well on this brand i would probably stick with it. other excelent options include Orijen, Acana and taste of the wild.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Skye. Personally, I agree with your veterinarian. Royal Canin is a superior product to Taste of the Wild. They have many veterinarians on staff to formulate their diets and out extensive research into their foods. Taste of the Wild seems to spend a ton of money on advertising. There is a lot of misinformation regarding pet foods. By-products are not lower quality ingredients. For example, if a wolf in the wild kills a moose to eat, it does not eat the skeletal muscle of the limbs first. It eats the internal organs as.these have a higher concentration of nutrients. I recently had a chance to speak with an ecologist at a university on this very topic. By-products are typically organ meat. Bottom line though, you need a food that works for your individual dog. I hope this information helps!

Hello. Any of the 3 will be fine. The problem with all 3 of these companies is they do absolutely no true feeding trials with their diets. All of their information comes out of a laboratory. There are basically only 3 companies that do actual feeding trials on living dogs, Hills, Royal Canin & Purina. If you want the best go with these, otherwise, any of the 3 you mentioned will be fine. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

No problem! Happy to help! From what I could research, it appears Bewi's standards for food production are exceptional. All the protein products that come from animals are human grade- meaning they are also approved for human food which is impressive. A lot of dog foods out there do not meet this standard. They also have rigorous quality control testing which is another good mark!

Hello. You have quite a very handsome group of pups! The best dog foods most vets will recommend are those made by Purina, Hill's Science Diet & Royal Canin. I personally feed mine Purina One True Instincts. These may not be the very cheapest foods out there, but they are definitely more reasonable than the incredibly high priced boutique foods which are no better than the basics. Hope your guys do well & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center.
