Health & WellnessIs pregnant cat discharge normal? Separate her from older kittens?
Hello! The answer to your first question depends on the color of this discharge. If it's clear, that's normal. If it's red or greenish tinged, that is not normal and Nancy needs to see a vet immediately. Yes she should be separated from the older kittens. Mother cats can be very protective of their newborns, and she could attack them. She should have her own room with complete privacy and no access from other cats when she has her kittens. I hope this helps!
