Great question! Many dogs of any age enjoy enrichment toys that are either balls that bounce unpredictably or puzzle toys that release small treats. Peanut and his friend are still pretty agile, a good game of fetch or playing "hide and seek" with a toy can be a lot fun for everyone. These websites have some good examples of enrichment toys, but plenty of puzzle toys can also be found on Amazon or in pet stores: https://www.ottoenvironmental.com/toys-3?pagenumber=5 https://www.czs.org/custom.czs/media/CenterAnimalWelfare/Orangutan-Husbandry-Manual/Enrichment/Enrichment-manufacturers-suppliers.pdf Have fun playing! :-)

Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. I don't know what your budget is, or what is specifically available in your area, but here are a few brand options: Natural Balance Taste of the Wild Merrick Canidae Most of these brands offer grain free treats as well. Hello! I personally love the Greenies brand dental chews for my dogs! You can also smear some dog toothpaste on their other toys, like a nylabone for example, to make a fun teeth brushing treat for him. :) I hope this is helpful! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Hi there. Great question! If Brody is a big chewer I would suggest compressed rawhides or nylabones. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/nylabone-healthy-edibles-wild-bison-value-bag-dog-treats You may also want to consider getting him a kong and fill it with stuff that he likes. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/kong-classic-dog-toy https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/kong-stuffn-pepperoni-recipe Regardless of what you give him to chew always be sure he is supervised during chewing (except for the Kong) just in case he breaks a piece off the bone and tries to swallow it! This can cause choking. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

It really depends on if there is an ingredient in it that Grendel is allergic to. If you suspect he may be allergic to something in it, or those ingredients, removing the snack from his diet and changing his food to one that doesn't contain sweet potato may help. It can take up to two months to see success from a food change/trial, so giving Grendel some time to heal after switching food is a good idea.
